HiRISE stereo DTMs / Edwin Kite

Acknowledgements:

These DTMs were produced using the SOCET SET workstation at the SETI Institute, generously made available to me by Cynthia Phillips (SETI). I am also grateful to Ross Beyer (Ames/SETI), Annie Howington-Kraus (USGS), Audrie Fennema (LPL), and Sarah Mattson (LPL) for help with DTM generation.

Note on usage:

You are welcome to download and use these DTMs for any science purpose without contacting me. However, please be aware that these were generated for a particular task that did not require editing to the standards of PDS-released DTM products. In particular, I have made minimal use of Interactive Terrain Edit (ITE) for blunder removal. Informally, short wavelength slopes are more reliable than long wavelength slopes; relative elevations are more reliable than absolution elevations. For a description of other common artifacts, see the HiRISE team's DTM notes page. For Arc use, I recommend the USGS image toolbox to convert 32-bit NODATA values.
