Associate Professor Position Available in Earth and Planetary Sciences

The Department of the Geophysical Sciences at the University of Chicago invites applications for positions at the Associate Professor rank. We seek outstanding scientists from all areas of Earth and planetary sciences who will enhance the research activities of the department. Candidates whose research spans disciplines are strongly encouraged to apply.

Applicants are required to submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae with a list of publications, statements of research and teaching interests, and three reference letters, to be submitted through the University’s Academic Careers website: https://tinyurl.com/ycseygqe

Candidates must have a PhD and an outstanding research record.

Consideration of applications will begin December 1, 2017, and will continue until all positions have been filled.
