Reto Trappitsch will receive the 2016 Nathan Sugarman Award for Excellence in Graduate Student Research, given annually by the Enrico Fermi Institute. The award, which consists of a certificate and a cash prize, is named after Professor Nathan Sugarman (1917–1990), a nuclear chemist who was a member of the Department of Chemistry and the Enrico Fermi Institute.
