Joint M.Sc. Geoinformation Science and Earth Observation for Environmental Modelling and Management (GEM) (2011), University of Southampton, Lund University, University of Warsaw and ITC/University of Twente. Erasmus Mundus Scholarship.

B.Sc. Geology (2009), Autonomous University of Barcelona, and Erasmus scholarship at the University of Bern (2007-2008).

Research interests

I am using a combination of numerical thermochemical models, orbital spectroscopy, and analytical and experimental mineralogical studies to study:

  • Chloride formation and precipitation in late-stage weathering events on Mars.
  • Carbonate formation and stability, and atmosphere-hydrosphere feedbacks on Mars.
  • H2 envelope generation on exoplanets with Earth-like radii.
