The last picture requires an explanation; This is my friend Amy Harmon, the best biker, man or woman, I have ever had the joy of riding with, except, of course, my legendary friend Brian Farrell , the Lance Armstrong of academia. When Amy doesn't bike, she writes about human-technology interactions for the New York Times. There's some disagreement on line about it, but she may well be THE person who coined the term "The Digital Divide" while a reporter for the L.A. Times. And she took ME of all people for a spin!!

Here we ride up a dirt road leading from Hillsdale, NY, to the Mt. Washington-Mt. Everett ridge, the 2nd-highest peak in MA, elevation 2624' ASL.
