As the climate changes and energy use increases rapidly with world population and the developing third world, the interaction between scientists, economists and policy makers becomes increasingly important. I am largely interested in the intersection of these three fields, with an emphasis on the geophysical sciences and the proper use of integrated assessment models (IAMs). I am a graduate student at the University of Chicago, collaborating with the center for Robust Decision Making on Climate and Energy Policy (RDCEP) with colleagues ranging from geophysical sciences and public policy, to economics and law.
