I presently am a postdoctoral research associate in cosmochemistry at the
Department
of the Geophysical Sciences at the
University
of Chicago, the
Chicago Center for Cosmochemistry (C3)
and
Argonne National Lab.
I place constraints on the origins and early conditions of our solar system through the study of
early solar system materials. I also work with presolar grains, physical remnants from other stars,
to infer condensation and nucleosynthesis in stars, and gain an improved understanding of stellar
conditions and evolution. I use an abundance of approaches encompassing
experimental analogs, modeling, elemental characterization and
the study of various isotopic systems including stable isotope applications and cosmochronology.
