Assistant Professor Malte Jansen has been awarded the prestigious Nicholas P. Fofonoff Award from the American Meteorological Society. This is an early career award given in recognition of research achievement in the field of physical oceanography. Formal presentation of the award will occur at the Annual Awards Banquet to be held on Wednesday evening, 9 January 2019, in the Phoenix Convention Center, Phoenix, Arizona. Congratulations Malte!!
