Biography
Pronouns: she/they
I graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2022 with a degree in Ecology & Evolutionary Biology, where I worked and studied in Dr. Jingchun Li’s marine invertebrate lab. My passion for aquatic ecology then took me to northern Michigan where I worked as a fisheries technician for two seasons, first with the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service and then with Black River Sturgeon Facility (MSU & MDNR). After that I took a leap of faith and moved to Chicago to focus on my career as a movement artist, and I’ve since performed at venues such as Metro and Harris Theater. I’m excited to return to research and to bolster my quantitative skillset through my Masters here at UChicago.
