Research Interests

Much of my research focuses on the production and survival of biodiversity using the modern and fossil records of animal life. As a member of the Jablonski Lab at UChicago I’ve contributed to work on extinction risk, biogeographic dynamics, biological invasions, biomechanics, and the stability of taxonomy. I’m currently working with Katie Collins and David Jablonski to capture and characterize the morphological dimension of marine bivalve biodiversity by 3D scanning the entirety of marine Bivalvia, both Ancient and Recent.
