As the climate changes and energy use increases with world population and advancements in the developing world, the interaction between science, economics, and policy becomes increasingly important. My interests lie at the intersection of these fields, with an emphasis on the impacts of climate change on agriculture and the prospects of feeding the world in an uncertain future. I am a fifth year Ph.D. student at the University of Chicago in Geophysical Sciences. Most of my research is in collaboration with the Center for Robust Decision Making on Climate and Energy Policy, with colleagues spanning computational science, statistics, public policy, economics, and law.
