PlotMaps.py : Reads netCDF files of NCEP reanalysis data, and makes maps of various quantities. This script was used to make the temperature and relative humidity maps in the text. Requires the netCDF data files (not yet included in the Workbook datasets collection, but will ultimately be put in a separate netCDF data directory), and also requires PyNio for reading the files.
