Biography
I earned a BA in Astrophysics as well as Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley in 2017 and came to the University of Chicago a year later after taking a gap year to continue to gain research experience. I am a first year graduate student here at the University of Chicago, and I'm excited to be pursuing a PhD in Geophysical Sciences.
Research Interests
My research interests lie in exploring the environmental conditions that make both solar system as well as extrasolar planets and moons potentially habitable. I am especially interested in the potential habitability and conditions of sub-surface global oceans, such as those on Europa and Enceladus, as well as the production/presence of organic molecules in planetary atmospheres and surfaces.
