Atmospheric Science Group
Our laboratory is dedicated to the study and understanding of clouds and water vapor in the atmosphere. A major component of our work is building spectroscopic instruments for measurement of water vapor and its isotopic composition in laboratory and field studies.
Climate & Energy Policy Group
joint with Michael Stein
The climate & energy policy group pursues research related to the understanding of climate projections and evaluation of climate policies. The group is part of U. Chicago's Center for Robush Decision-making on Climate and Energy Policy (RDCEP). An important component of the research is the statistical emulation of climate models, but research also includes the impacts of climate change on agriculture, the evolution of transient climates, and the valuation of greenhouse gas emissions.
