Dorian Abbot joined two other local atmospheric scientists at Geek Bar Beta in Chicago’s hip Wicker Park neighborhood to give informal talks about their research as part of the annual “Pint of Science” festival. Abbot discussed his work on detecting the characteristics of planets outside our solar system, which may help identify possible locations of extraterrestrial life.
