June 03, 2016

Graduate student Lily Thompson, who is advised by Andy Campbell, has been accepted into the Graduate Research Opportunities Worldwide program to study in Japan next year, sponsored jointly by the National Science Foundation and the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science. Under this program, for which only current NSF Graduate Fellows are eligible, Lily will return to Ehime University, where she will follow up on this year's EAPSI-sponsored visit to further investigate the properties of hydrous high-pressure mineral phases using ab initio calculation methods. Congratulations Lily!
