Megan Mansfield Highlighted in AAAS Nova

Department Ph.D. candidate Megan Mansfield's recent paper on exoplanet HAT-P-11b was just featured in an AAAS Nova article. She and her collaborators used Hubble to study the hot Neptune, discovering that helium was escaping from the planet's atmosphere. HAT-P-11b joins only a handful of exoplanets with recorded atmospheric escape rates.
