Memorial Symposium In Honor Of David B. Rowley

The University of Chicago will be hosting a Symposium on Friday, October 31st to commemorate the life and legacy of David Rowley. Dr. Rowley joined the Department of the Geophysical Sciences in 1993 and remained there until his retirement in 2024. Among many other accomplishments, his work earned him recognition from the American Geophysical Union where he was named a Fellow in 2018.

The Symposium will be held in the Henry Hinds Laboratory for Geophysical Sciences, and also over Zoom for those joining remotely. Talks and tributes will be given in Hinds 176 and Hinds 101. You can view the full schedule here: https://uchicago.box.com/s/h7vdrwse0c7j9l944hcwtc5haoay3pr7
