  • Heck wins Cosslett Award

    Associate Professor (part time) Phillip Heck has won the coveted Cosslett Award from the Microanalysis Society (MAS) for the best invited paper in the Microscopy and Microanalysis 2016 meeting for his talk titled, "Microanalysis of Fossil Micrometeorites and Meteorites to Study a Major Asteroid Collision ~470 Million Years Ago." Congratulations Phillip!

    DoGS graduate student Anne Davis has been awarded a Graduate Research Fellowship by the National Science Foundation. These fellowships are awarded to only 15% of applicants across all fields nationwide. Congratulations Anne!

  • Jablonski awarded 2017 Paleontological Society Medal

    William R. Kenan, Jr., Distinguished Service Professor David Jablonski will be awarded the 2017 Paleontological Society Medal, which is the highest honor given by the Paleontological Society and is “awarded to a person whose eminence is based on advancement of knowledge in paleontology."
