Assistant Professor Edwin Kite and graduate student Megan Barnett have created thousands of simulated planets to understand what makes or breaks atmospheres around faraway worlds, which can help narrow down the search for planets with Earth-like atmospheres. The results were published today in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. UChicago News has more details.
