Biography

I was born in France and graduated from McGill University in 2025 with Honours in Biology, where I conducted undergraduate research in paleolimnology and fire ecology. My thesis focused on reconstructing the wildfire history of Alaska’s Kenai Peninsula to investigate its impacts on primary producers. Throughout my undergraduate studies, I interned in various labs and NGOs, gaining experience in molecular ecology, macroevolution, ecotoxicology, and conservation biology. I love fieldwork and environmental policy, and my research aims to gain insight into the roles of prescribed fire and megafauna reintroduction (such as bison) in soil pyrogenic carbon storage, with the goal of advancing prairie rehabilitation efforts in the Midwest and supporting nature-based solutions to address global climate change.
