Research Interests
I use isotope geochemistry and modeling to study the chemical reactions and physical processes regulating the carbon, alkalinity, and electron fluxes that keep Earth habitable. I'm broadly interested in next-generation mass spectrometry, marine nutrient budgets, the relationship between weathering and climate, the processes that record geochemical information in sedimentary archives, and interactions between diversification/extinction and seawater chemistry.
