Postdoc Alice Marzocchi has won a Best Poster Awards for Early Career researchers at the 12th International Conference on Paleoceanography (ICP12) for her poster “The role of sea ice and buoyancy fluxes in shaping glacial and modern ocean circulation: An analysis of PMIP simulations”.

Assistant professor Tiffany Shaw is the lead author on a recent review in Nature Geosciences titled, "Storm track processes and the opposing influences of climate change." The paper explains how numerous complex and difficult-to-model phenomena in Earth's atmosphere are likely to change with climate in ways that will pull the storm track in different directions, making the effect of climate change on the storm track extremely difficult to predict.
