Chicago Water Isotope Spectrometer makes a splash in API Scilight

A recent publication coauthored by postoc Ben Clouser and Prof. Elisabeth Moyer was just featured in an API Scilight article! The Chicago Water Isotope Spectrometer (ChiWIS-lab) will measure the isotopic composition of water vapor and cirrus clouds in the upper troposphere, in hopes of tracing a variety of atmospheric processes. Congratulations to both!

María Hernández Limón awarded Ford Foundation Predoctoral Fellowship

María Hernández Limón, a second-year graduate student, has been awarded a Ford Foundation 2020 Predoctoral Fellowship! These prestigious fellowships are given to individuals who demonstrate “superior academic achievement, are committed to a career in teaching and research at the college or university level, show promise of future achievements as scholars and teachers, and are well prepared to use diversity as a resource for enriching the education of all students.” Congratulations, María!
