DoGS staff members Jolene Hanchar (Department Administrator) and Sarah Lippert (Student Affairs Administrator) have both been nominated for the inaugural Physical Sciences Division Staff Awards! Jolene has been nominated as a Bridge Builder, and Sarah as a Rising Star. The Awards Ceremony will be held November 10, 2020.

Associate Professor Philipp Heck and graduate student Jennika Greer reveal their discoveries from analysis of a meteorite that fell in in January 2018 near Hamburg, Michigan. The meteorite came from an asteroid that formed 4.5 billion years ago, and contains over 2,600 different organic compounds!
