Alison Banwell and Ian Willis of CIRES at UC Boulder coauthored a recent paper on ice shelf collapse with collaborator Becky Goodsell and Department grad student Grant Macdonald & Prof. Douglas MacAyeal! They made the first field measurements of Antarctic ice shelf flexure due to meltwater lakes, which can lead to ice shelf break up. Congratulations to all!
