T.C. Chamberlin Postdoc Stephanie Olson discussed how ocean circulation patterns may differ among habitable exoplanets and what these differences may mean for habitability in a keynote lecture at Goldschmidt in Barcelona, Spain. Her talk identified which types of planets are most likely to host remotely detectable ocean life and showed that some planets might be even more hospitable than Earth. Assistant Prof. Jansen and Associate Prof. Abbot also contributed to the study, which was then featured in a recent CNN piece. Congratulations!
