Biography

I earned my B.S. in Chemistry at UNAM, Mexico.  I worked for seven years at the National Laboratory of Mineralogy and Geochemistry (LANGEM) at UNAM. There, I conducted research on the mobility of potentially toxic elements derived from mining activity in soil and water, with the goal of assessing environmental hazards and human health risks and proposing remediation plans for contaminated sites.

Research Interests
I am particularly interested in experimental studies on the mobility of inorganic compounds, the use of environmental data analysis to support risk assessment and remediation strategies, and the application of environmental policies and regulations to promote sustainable industrial practices.
